Facing Stone
Enhance the look of your property with quality slate facing stone. It is durable, low maintenance and also provides excellent protection for your property.
Our traditional slate facing stone is cut to a bed depth (distance from the back to the front of the stone) of 6” or 4” with varying lengths and heights. Double or single Quoins (Corner stones) can also be ordered if required.
It is popular with stonemasons as it is easy to work with and produces stunning results. Facing Stone has a range of uses and can be used internally or externally depending on your project, whether it is an extension to an existing building, a time-honored barn conversion, a contemporary new build or anything in between, then Facing Stone could be just what you are looking for. Maybe your project is less ambitious you are cladding a chimney, a step or a porch.
We have a blue range which has a unique blue / grey colour which over time pulls out some rustic tones in varied degrees or a Rustic range with warm autumnal colours running throughout. A Natural or a Sawn face can be supplied (face is the exposed portion of the stone). It is very much in keeping with the local environment and has a natural authentic style. Being naturally faced products attractive variations will exist.
Alongside our own ranges we can now also supply a Celtic range which is the hardest, most dense slate quarried in the British Isles. It comes in Celtic Rustic, Celtic Cropped and also Celtic Tumbled.
Once cut the Stone is placed on a pallet and wrapped for delivery (approximately 1&1/2 ton covering 6 sq m). But never be afraid to ask for smaller amounts and we will do our best for you.
